Option Golf Equipment opened its Asian office in June of 2000 with a launch at the Volvo masters of Asia played at the Kota Permai Golf and Country Club.  In the beginning, we used Golf Academies around the Klang Valley to distribute our equipment.  In 2001, we were offered the Mines Golf driving range as the development centre to setup our golf schools and range management programs which are running at over 26 golf clubs and ranges throughout the world.  Since then, we have opened 3 more outlets in the Klang Valley, which includes Sunway Driving Range, Pandan Perdana and Sri Damansara Driving Range. Since these programs have been put in place, our team has been working with other leading equipment manufacturers to:

1. Help distribute their products through our network and ranges.

2. Design and develop their products.

3. Create selling methodologies for their equipment.

Each of our centres has a fully equipped workshop to custom build, assemble and repair any golf club.  Our centre’s carry all the latest components to ensure clients have access to all the latest technology.  Besides our own components, we only work with original manufacturers to ensure our quality control.  Some of our components and accessories suppliers are:

In January 2007 Option golf was approached by Mr Elbert Hing to help develop and launch the new ED TEC JD427 golf shafts. Working together with the Pure Fit Design (Which Option Golf is a prominent member) we finalised the shaft development and started distributing to the market through Option Golf service centres. As JD427 shafts have been so successful Option Golf will continue with its JD427 brand name.
